METAC is hiring a Technical Engineer to support our villa construction projects in Dubai. This role bridges the gap between design and execution, providing technical expertise to ensure that structural and architectural plans are viable and correctly implemented on-site. You will be responsible for reviewing technical drawings, resolving design discrepancies, and coordinating with various engineering departments to maintain technical integrity throughout the project lifecycle.
This position requires a deep understanding of construction materials, structural engineering principles, and technical software. The Technical Engineer will also provide guidance to site teams and assist in the procurement of technical materials. Key Requirements
10 to 12 years of experience as a technical or structural engineer.
Degree in Civil or Structural Engineering from a recognized institution.
Advanced proficiency in AutoCAD and other design software.
Experience in interpreting and reviewing complex construction drawings.
Knowledge of international and local construction standards.
Ability to solve technical issues arising during the construction phase.
Experience in material selection and specification for villas.
Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
Effective coordination skills with architects and site staff.
Fluency in English and ability to produce technical reports.
