ASSISTANT MARKETING OFFICERS (17 POSTS) @ MERU AGRO-TOURS & CONSULTANTS CO. LTD (MATCC)
We are looking for 17 energetic Assistant Marketing Officers to support our field operations across multiple regions in Tanzania, such as Mbeya, Iringa, Songea, Sumbawanga, and Dodoma. This role is crucial for our grassroots marketing strategy, focusing on direct engagement with farmers and rural communities. You will assist in organizing demonstrations and engagement events that highlight the efficacy of MATCC's agricultural solutions.
Responsibilities include supporting senior marketing staff, managing field logistics for events, and preparing regular activity reports. Since this role involves significant field travel, proficiency in motorcycle riding and a valid license are mandatory. Key Requirements
Certificate or Diploma in Agriculture or a related field
At least 1 year of experience in a similar field-based role
Valid motorcycle riding license and proven riding skills
Support field marketing activities and brand awareness campaigns
Organize and manage demonstrations and farmer engagement events
Prepare accurate and timely field reports for management review
Ability to work outdoors in diverse and rural environments
Strong interpersonal skills for effective farmer interaction
Basic understanding of crop protection and nutrition products
Proactive attitude and a strong willingness to learn marketing strategies
Fluency in Swahili and English to communicate with local communities
