ACCOUNTANT @ MEDPACK
MedPack is seeking a meticulous and professional Accountant to oversee financial operations and ensure the accuracy of our economic data. In this role, you will be responsible for preparing comprehensive financial statements, managing tax filings, and maintaining the general ledger in accordance with established accounting standards. Your expertise will support the company's growth by providing clear insights into our financial performance and operational efficiency. The position requires a collaborative individual who can work effectively with various departments to streamline financial processes and ensure startup scalability. You will be tasked with reconciling bank statements, managing accounts payable and receivable, and performing periodic audits to ensure compliance with Tanzanian financial regulations. Key Requirements
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
CPA (T) or equivalent certification preferred.
2+ years experience in accounting or finance.
Experience with business or startup accounting is an advantage.
Strong financial reporting skills.
Proficiency in accounting software and advanced Excel.
In-depth knowledge of Tanzanian tax laws and financial regulations.
Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.
High level of accuracy and attention to detail.
Strong communication skills for presenting financial data to management.
