Mediloop is inviting tech-savvy recent graduates to apply for the Software Development track of our 2026 Graduate Trainee Program. We are building the backbone of Uganda’s medical data infrastructure, and our developers are responsible for the core technology that makes the Universal Health ID functional via platforms like WhatsApp. Located in Nakawa, Kampala, this role puts you at the heart of the country's ICT innovation hub.
As a Software Development Trainee, you will contribute to the design, coding, and testing of our health-tech platforms. You will work under the guidance of experienced engineers to build scalable and secure systems that handle sensitive medical data. Key Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field (2024-2026).
Proficiency in at least one modern coding language such as Python or JavaScript.
Strong understanding of software development life cycle (SDLC) principles.
Proven leadership skills and a drive for technical excellence.
Excellent communication skills for technical documentation and team updates.
Ability to work effectively in an agile development environment.
Familiarity with version control systems like Git.
Basic knowledge of web and mobile application development.
Strong logical reasoning and analytical problem-solving skills.
Passion for building impactful technology for the healthcare sector.
