HEAD OF FINANCE AND ADMINISTRATION @ MEDIA COUNCIL OF TANZANIA
The Media Council of Tanzania (MCT) invites applications for the Head of Finance and Administration. This critical role is responsible for overseeing all financial operations, ensuring fiscal integrity, and managing the administrative functions of the organization. The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in maintaining sound financial health, optimizing resource allocation, and ensuring compliance with all relevant financial regulations and internal policies.
Responsibilities include budgeting, financial reporting, cash flow management, and auditing coordination. Furthermore, the Head will manage administrative processes, including procurement, human resources support, and general office management, to ensure efficient and effective operations. Key Requirements
Extensive experience in financial management and accounting
Proven expertise in administrative oversight and operational efficiency
Strong knowledge of budgeting, financial reporting, and auditing processes
Familiarity with financial regulations and compliance standards in Tanzania
Proficiency in accounting software and financial management systems
Excellent organizational and time management skills
Ability to manage procurement processes and resource allocation effectively
Relevant academic qualifications in Finance, Accounting, or Business Administration
Demonstrated leadership skills and experience in managing a team
