ASSISTANT ADMINISTRATOR @ MEDEWELL HOSPITAL
Medewell Hospital is seeking an organized and detail-oriented Assistant Administrator to support our administrative and operational teams. This role is vital for the smooth functioning of the hospital, involving duties such as drafting official correspondence, maintaining physical and digital filing systems, and compiling essential operational reports. You will monitor inventory levels, assist with procurement processes, and liaise between clinical, HR, and facility maintenance departments to ensure all hospital activities run efficiently.
The successful candidate will be based at our Kibaha, Mpakani location and will play an integral role in coordinating schedules, managing meetings, and overseeing equipment maintenance. Key Requirements
1–3 years of administrative experience, preferably in a healthcare setting.
Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
Experience using Hospital Information Systems (HIS).
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Exceptional organizational and multitasking abilities.
Commitment to maintaining high levels of data confidentiality.
Experience in procurement and inventory monitoring.
Ability to manage schedules and coordinate meetings.
