PEB PRODUCTION MANAGER (FABRICATION & QUALITY) @ MAX STEEL AFRICA
Max Steel Africa is seeking a highly skilled and motivated PEB Production Manager to oversee its fabrication and quality control operations in Tanzania. This role is critical in ensuring that all Pre-Engineered Building (PEB) components are manufactured to the highest standards of structural integrity and precision. The successful candidate will be responsible for planning production schedules, managing shop floor activities, and leading a diverse team of fabricators and technicians to achieve organizational goals. In addition to technical oversight, the PEB Production Manager will collaborate closely with the engineering and design departments to ensure that project specifications are met with accuracy. Key Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Structural Engineering, or a related technical field.
Proven experience of at least 5 years in a managerial role specifically within the PEB or heavy steel fabrication industry.
In-depth knowledge of welding processes, structural assembly, and metal fabrication techniques.
Strong ability to interpret complex engineering blueprints and technical drawings accurately.
Experience in implementing and monitoring Quality Management Systems (QMS) and safety protocols.
Demonstrated leadership skills with the ability to manage, train, and motivate a large production workforce.
Proficiency in production planning software and Microsoft Office Suite.
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills to address technical issues during the fabrication phase.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills for effective departmental coordination.
Ability to work under pressure and meet tight project deadlines without compromising on quality.
Familiarity with international standards for steel construction and structural safety.
