Mawibho Beverages S & D Co. Ltd is seeking a proactive Logistics Manager to oversee transportation, fleet management, and distribution operations in Dar es Salaam, Tanzania. The role involves optimizing logistics workflows to ensure efficient product delivery while maintaining fleet safety and cost-effectiveness. The candidate will play a critical role in managing the distribution network, coordinating with various departments to meet supply chain demands, and ensuring all operational targets are consistently achieved within the fast-paced beverage industry. The ideal individual will possess a strong command of transport logistics and a commitment to operational excellence. They will be responsible for overseeing the daily movement of goods and ensuring that the company's distribution capacity scales effectively with market demand. The role requires a high degree of accountability and the ability to manage a team of drivers and operational support staff.
Key Requirements
Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree in Logistics, Transport Management, or Supply Chain
2+ years of practical experience in logistics and fleet/transport management
Proficiency in MS Excel and inventory/transport software
Strong leadership, decision-making, and problem-solving abilities
Ability to supervise drivers and operational personnel
Knowledge of vehicle maintenance and safety compliance
Ability to prepare periodic performance reports
Strong analytical skills for transit efficiency analysis
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Integrity and attention to detail in operational costs tracking
