A reputable organization is seeking to hire a dedicated Fleet Officer to support and manage its fleet operations in Nairobi, Baba Dogo. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing daily fleet operations, vehicle scheduling, and monitoring vehicle performance to ensure all units remain in good mechanical condition and roadworthy. This role involves coordinating repairs with mechanics, maintaining accurate fleet logs, and diagnosing basic mechanical issues to ensure minimal downtime and maximum operational efficiency. The salary for this position is KES 35,000.

Key Requirements
Diploma or Certificate in Automotive Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Logistics, or Transport Management.
At least 2–3 years of professional experience in a similar fleet or mechanical role.
Proven experience in fleet management and vehicle maintenance procedures.
Strong mechanical knowledge and hands-on experience with various vehicle systems.
Ability to manage fleet efficiency and effectively coordinate complex maintenance schedules.
Excellent reporting, documentation, and organizational skills for maintaining fleet logs.
Strong problem-solving skills and exceptional attention to detail.
Practical experience in vehicle maintenance and diagnostics is highly advantageous.
Capacity to oversee daily fleet operations and manage vehicle scheduling efficiently.
Ability to diagnose and identify basic mechanical issues to facilitate prompt repairs.
