AUTOMOTIVE ENGINEER @ MAVERICK RECRUITMENT
A reputable company in Tanzania is seeking a skilled and experienced Automotive Engineer to join their team immediately in Dar es Salaam. The successful candidate will be responsible for conducting routine servicing, maintenance, and complex repairs on heavy commercial vehicles, specifically focusing on buses. You will diagnose mechanical and electrical faults, perform preventive maintenance and inspections, and work closely with the operations team to minimize vehicle downtime. Salary: KES 70,000 – 80,000 Net.

Key Requirements
Diploma or Degree in Automotive Engineering or a related technical field.
Proven professional experience working extensively with heavy commercial vehicles.
Strong technical expertise in handling and maintaining large transport buses.
Ability to diagnose, repair, and maintain complex vehicle systems efficiently.
Advanced troubleshooting skills for identifying mechanical and electrical faults.
Full willingness to relocate to Dar es Salaam, Tanzania.
Competency in performing scheduled preventive maintenance and safety inspections.
Ability to work collaboratively with operations teams to ensure minimal vehicle downtime.
Knowledge of high-performance standards for commercial transport fleets.
Commitment to maintaining vehicles in excellent and safe operating condition.
