PRE & PRIMARY SCHOOL TEACHERS @ MATONYOK CHILDREN HOME
Matonyok Primary School is looking for dedicated Pre & Primary School Teachers to join our volunteer team. You will be responsible for providing high-quality education to our students, fostering a positive learning environment, and helping each child reach their full potential. This role involves teaching core subjects, assessing student progress regularly, and maintaining classroom discipline to create a productive atmosphere.
Beyond academic instruction, you will serve as a mentor and role model for our students, many of whom come from vulnerable backgrounds. Working in a rural setting in Tanzania, you will have the chance to innovate within the classroom and contribute to the overall development of the school's educational standards. Your contribution will directly influence the future of many children within our care and the surrounding community.

Key Requirements
Diploma or Degree in Education, specifically Early Childhood or Primary level.
Valid teaching certification or license from a recognized body.
Strong classroom management skills and pedagogical knowledge.
Ability to create engaging and effective lesson plans for young learners.
A genuine passion for working with children in a school environment.
Proficiency in both English and Swahili languages for teaching and communication.
Patience and empathy toward students with diverse backgrounds and needs.
Ability to collaborate effectively with other teachers and staff members.
Willingness to participate in extracurricular school activities and events.
Understanding of the Tanzanian national primary school curriculum.
