COMMUNICATION LEAD @ MATONYOK CHILDREN HOME
The Communication Lead will be the voice of Matonyok Children Home, responsible for sharing our stories with the local and global community. You will manage our social media presence across various platforms, update our website, and create compelling content that highlights the real-world impact of our work. This role is essential for engaging with our global community of supporters and attracting new volunteers and donors to our mission.
You will also be responsible for internal communications and helping to document the daily lives and successes of the children and students at the school. By crafting impactful narratives and visuals, you will help Matonyok Children Home grow its visibility and sustain its operations through increased public awareness and engagement. This is a creative and strategic volunteer role based in the Arusha region.

Key Requirements
Degree in Communications, Journalism, Public Relations, or Marketing.
Proven experience in social media management and digital content creation.
Strong writing and editing skills with a focus on English content.
Proficiency in graphic design tools such as Canva or Adobe Creative Suite.
Basic photography and videography skills for documenting home activities.
Ability to develop communication strategies for fundraising and awareness.
Strong networking and relationship-building abilities with donors.
Creative thinking and storytelling skills to convey impact effectively.
Understanding of digital marketing basics and SEO best practices.
Ability to represent the organization professionally to external partners.
