HSE ENGINEER / HSE OFFICER @ MATHEWS PC
This is an urgent hiring opportunity for experienced HSE Engineers and HSE Officers to join a TAQA Substation and Power Project located in Abu Dhabi. The selected candidates will be responsible for overseeing the health, safety, and environmental aspects of the site, ensuring that all operations align with project safety standards and local regulatory requirements. This role is critical for maintaining safety protocols within high-voltage environments and infrastructure development. The candidates will be expected to conduct regular site inspections, facilitate safety meetings, and monitor the implementation of risk mitigation strategies. This position offers the chance to work on a prestigious energy project within the United Arab Emirates and requires a dedicated professional capable of managing complex safety tasks.
Key Requirements
Minimum of 2 years of professional experience as an HSE Engineer or Officer.
Direct experience working on Substation or Power projects is required.
Possession of NEBOSH or IOSH certification is strongly preferred.
Familiarity with TAQA, TRANSCO, or ADDC project safety standards is an advantage.
In-depth knowledge of HSE compliance and risk assessment methodologies.
Demonstrated ability to implement and manage site safety procedures.
Capability to perform detailed site safety audits and hazard identification.
Strong communication skills for delivering safety briefings and reporting.
Ability to maintain meticulous safety documentation and incident reports.
Proficiency in coordinating with project managers to ensure safety goals are met.
