Matheos Techs is seeking a highly competent and experienced Office Messenger to join our team in Dar es Salaam. The primary responsibility of this role is to manage the safe and efficient transportation of goods and personnel. You will be responsible for handling sensitive documents, mail, and packages, ensuring they reach their destinations within tight deadlines by considering traffic patterns, alternative routes, and driving conditions. The ideal candidate will possess a strong commitment to safety and a professional demeanor to represent the company effectively.
Beyond transportation duties, the Office Messenger will provide essential clerical support to ensure smooth daily operations. This includes running errands, performing routine pre-start checks on motorbikes or vehicles, and reporting any abnormalities to management. We are looking for a proactive team player who can maintain punctuality and adhere to all local traffic regulations while providing excellent service to our internal and external clients.

Key Requirements
Advanced Certificate of Secondary School Education (Form Six)
VETA Training Certificate is an added advantage
1-3 years of relevant experience in a similar role
Valid driving license with appropriate classes
Basic proficiency in the English language
Proven ability to ensure safe and reliable transportation of goods and people
Deep knowledge of local routes and traffic laws in Dar es Salaam
Excellent defensive driving skills and safety awareness
Ability to perform basic vehicle maintenance checks and troubleshooting
Exceptional punctuality and time management skills
Clean driving record with no major traffic violations
