Marsjsstd Private Hospital in Zanzibar is seeking a professional, compassionate, and highly organized Customer Service Officer to join our dedicated healthcare team. This role is central to our daily operations, as the hospital serves between 300 to 400 patients and clients each day. You will be the first point of contact, responsible for welcoming and assisting patients, coordinating appointments, and handling various inquiries, complaints, and follow-ups with empathy and efficiency.
In this position, you will guide patients through registration, billing, and service procedures while maintaining accurate records and feedback to improve service standards. The successful candidate will work in a fast-paced environment, ensuring an excellent patient experience and upholding the hospital's reputation for quality care. This is a full-time position located in Zanzibar, requiring a candidate who can maintain a patient-centered approach and professional demeanor at all times.

Key Requirements
Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Customer Service, Business Administration, or Healthcare Administration.
Minimum of 2 years of experience in customer service, preferably in a hospital environment.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to interact with diverse patients.
Strong problem-solving abilities and the capacity to work under pressure.
Computer literacy and familiarity with modern hospital information systems.
Demonstrated ability to be patient-centered and highly empathetic.
Excellent multitasking and organizational skills for a high-volume environment.
Ability to maintain strict confidentiality and professionalism at all times.
