We are seeking an LM Core Cleaning and Repair Operator to join our team in the Cleveland area of Johannesburg. This position requires a dedicated individual who can handle the rigors of industrial cleaning and the precision required for component repair. You will be responsible for maintaining equipment integrity, ensuring that all parts are cleaned to specification and repaired as needed to prevent downtime in our operations. The role is based in Cleveland (JHB) and requires immediate availability to support our growing workload. The ideal candidate will have a background in technical maintenance and a keen eye for detail. Working in our Cleveland facility, you will collaborate with other team members to ensure a smooth workflow and high-quality output. This is an urgent hire, and we are looking for someone who can start immediately and contribute to the safety and productivity of our repair shop. Candidates should be comfortable working in an industrial environment and have the stamina for manual tasks.
Key Requirements
Previous experience in an industrial cleaning or repair environment
Ability to handle core cleaning tools and heavy-duty machinery
Strong understanding of technical blueprints and repair manuals
Commitment to adhering to all health and safety regulations
Capacity to perform physically demanding tasks for extended periods
Basic literacy and numeracy skills for reporting and documentation
Effective communication skills for reporting equipment status
Proven track record of reliability and punctual attendance
Skill in using hand tools and power tools safely
Ability to identify and troubleshoot mechanical issues effectively
