ACCOUNTANT @ MAPINGA PREMIUM FOODS
Mapinga Premium Foods is seeking a dedicated and experienced Accountant to join our team in Mapinga, Bagamoyo. The primary responsibility of this role will be to maintain the General Ledger, ensuring all financial transactions are accurately recorded and reconciled. The successful candidate will be instrumental in preparing timely and accurate Trial Balances, contributing significantly to the financial health and reporting integrity of the company. This position offers an opportunity to work within a dynamic environment, applying advanced accounting principles and utilizing modern ERP systems.

Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel, is essential, and prior experience with ERP systems, especially Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central, will be a significant advantage. Key Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Accountancy/Finance (CPA(T) or ACCA an advantage)
Minimum 2 years’ experience in Accounting & Finance
Proficient in MS Office (especially Excel)
Experience with ERP (preferably Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central)
High integrity, accuracy, and knowledge of financial controls
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Excellent communication skills
Knowledge of Tanzanian tax regulations
Attention to detail and organizational skills
