WAREHOUSE OFFICER @ MAPESSA INTERTRADE LTD
MAPESSA INTERTRADE LTD is looking for a diligent Warehouse Officer to manage and oversee daily warehouse operations in Mbeya. Your responsibilities will include receiving, storing, and issuing goods, maintaining accurate inventory records, and ensuring the efficient flow of products within the warehouse. You will be crucial in ensuring that all items, particularly our activated carbon products, are handled and stored correctly, adhering to safety and quality standards.This role requires a highly organized individual with a strong understanding of warehouse procedures. You will be responsible for maintaining a clean and orderly warehouse environment, conducting regular stock checks, and preparing shipments for distribution. A keen eye for detail and a commitment to operational excellence are essential for this position.
Key Requirements
Proven experience as a Warehouse Officer or similar role
Knowledge of warehouse operations and best practices
Ability to manage inventory and conduct stock counts accurately
Familiarity with inventory management software
Strong organizational and time management skills
Ability to operate forklifts and other warehouse equipment (certification preferred)
Good physical condition and stamina
Attention to detail and accuracy in record-keeping
Basic computer skills (MS Office)
Effective communication skills
