MAPESSA INTERTRADE LTD is seeking a skilled Sales (Mining) Engineer to join our team in Mbeya. In this crucial role, you will combine your engineering expertise with sales acumen to promote our activated carbon products specifically to the mining industry. Your responsibilities will include identifying potential clients, conducting technical presentations, and offering tailored solutions that address the specific needs and challenges of mining operations.You will act as a technical liaison between the company and our mining clients, providing expert advice and support. This position requires a deep understanding of mining processes and a strong ability to translate technical specifications into compelling sales propositions. Success in this role hinges on your ability to build trust and long-term relationships within the mining sector.
Key Requirements
Bachelor's degree in Mining Engineering or a related technical field
Proven experience in technical sales, preferably within the mining sector
Strong understanding of mining operations, equipment, and processes
Ability to provide technical support and solutions to clients
Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills
Capacity to build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders in the mining industry
Problem-solving aptitude
Willingness to travel to mining sites as required
Proficiency in relevant engineering software
Valid driver's license
