Malaika Camps & Lodges is seeking a highly skilled and meticulous Accountant to join our finance department in Tanzania. The Accountant will be responsible for overseeing our financial records, ensuring accuracy in all transactions, and preparing financial reports that assist management in decision-making. You will handle accounts payable/receivable, reconciliations, and tax compliance to ensure the organization remains fiscally healthy.

Key Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
Professional certification such as CPA or ACCA is highly preferred
At least 3 years of proven experience as an accountant in a commercial firm
Strong knowledge of accounting software and ERP systems
Comprehensive knowledge of Tanzanian tax laws and regulations
Ability to prepare and analyze financial statements
Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel
Strong analytical skills with an attention to detail
Effective communication skills in English and Swahili
Integrity and high ethical standards
