Malaika Camps & Lodges is seeking a dedicated and meticulous Accountant to oversee the financial operations of our properties in Tanzania. You will be responsible for managing all financial records, preparing tax filings, ensuring compliance with financial regulations, and providing accurate reporting to management to facilitate strategic decision-making.
The ideal candidate will be expected to handle day-to-day bookkeeping, payroll processing, and budget monitoring. Key Requirements
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
Professional certification such as CPA or ACCA is highly preferred.
Extensive experience in financial accounting and bookkeeping.
Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Sage, or similar).
Solid understanding of Tanzanian tax laws and financial compliance.
Strong analytical skills with an ability to interpret financial data.
High level of integrity and professional ethics.
Excellent communication and reporting skills.
Ability to handle confidential information with discretion.
Proven track record of managing payroll and accounts payable/receivable.
