SPA THERAPIST @ MAISHA MATAMU BOUTIQUE
Maisha Matamu Boutique is seeking a skilled Spa Therapist to provide soulful and authentic wellness experiences at our spa in Paje Beach, Zanzibar. Our spa is a cornerstone of the emotional connection we offer guests, utilizing locally sourced ingredients and traditional techniques to promote healing and relaxation. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of wellness practices and a passion for crafting personalized journeys for our guests within our 19-suite sanctuary.
In this role, you will be expected to maintain the highest standards of hygiene and professionalism while reflecting the serene atmosphere of our island location. You will work within a framework of sustainability and ethical practices, ensuring every treatment contributes to the guest's overall sense of peace and privacy. This is a mandatory position for Tanzanian nationals with significant experience in high-end hospitality environments.

Key Requirements
Bachelor degree in Hospitality Business Administration or professional certification in Spa Therapy.
3 - 5 years of experience as a Spa Therapist in a high-end resort.
Expertise in various massage techniques, body treatments, and facials.
Fluency in English; knowledge of Swahili or another language is a plus.
Must be a Tanzanian candidate.
Strong attention to detail and adaptability to client needs.
Proficiency in using basic office equipment and computer applications.
Knowledge of hygiene and safety standards for spa operations.
Excellent bedside manner and communication skills.
Ability to promote spa products and services effectively.
