Maisha Matamu Boutique, located on the serene white sands of Paje Beach in Zanzibar, is seeking a dedicated Public Area Attendant to join our team. This role is vital to maintaining the aesthetic and cleanliness of our unique destination, which features 19 meticulously designed suites. The attendant will ensure that all common areas remain an oasis of privacy and calm for our guests, reflecting the vibrant local culture and the exquisite craftsmanship that defines our boutique experience. Candidates must be comfortable working in a high-end environment that prioritizes sustainability and ethical practices.

Key Requirements
Bachelor degree in Hospitality Business Administration or equivalent.
3 - 5 years of experience in a public area cleaning or hospitality maintenance role.
Proven ability to handle cleaning chemicals and equipment safely.
Strong attention to detail and adaptability in a boutique hospitality environment.
Proficiency in using basic office equipment and computer applications.
Fluency in English; knowledge of Swahili or another language is a plus.
Must be a Tanzanian candidate.
Ability to maintain high standards of cleanliness in common areas like the lobby and beach paths.
Excellent time management and organizational skills.
Knowledge of health and safety regulations within the hospitality industry.
