SENIOR ORACLE PL/SQL DEVELOPER @ MAASCOTECH
We are actively looking for a Senior Oracle SQL/PLSQL Developer for a hybrid opportunity with work locations in Charlotte, NC and Jersey City, NJ. This role is centered on modernizing legacy systems, specifically migrating Mainframe SAS processes to Oracle SQL/PLSQL architectures. You will be responsible for redesigning and optimizing complex data workflows to ensure the performance, accuracy, and reliability of database solutions. This position requires 3 days onsite per week at one of the designated office locations. In addition to core database development, you will support Java-based UI enhancements and collaborate closely within an Agile delivery environment. The ideal candidate will possess a strong analytical mindset, a sense of ownership, and the ability to work through intricate problem-solving tasks. You will also utilize Python and JIRA to manage workflows and integrate modern programming practices into the database layer. Key Requirements
Strong Oracle SQL & PL/SQL development experience
Experience working with Mainframe SAS environment
Working knowledge of Python programming
Experience supporting and integrating Java-based applications
Familiarity with JIRA and Agile methodology
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and ownership mindset
Experience with legacy system modernization and migration
Ability to redesign and optimize complex data workflows
