SR PRODUCTION AND PLANNING CONTROL ENGINEER @ M3 CONSULTANT
This Senior Production and Planning Control Engineer position is a critical role focused on optimizing manufacturing processes and ensuring seamless production cycles in Dubai. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing production schedules, overseeing the Bill of Materials (BOM), and implementing Lean manufacturing strategies to enhance efficiency. You will play a vital role in monitoring the flow of production and addressing any deviations to ensure timely dispatch and high-quality output.
In this role, you will apply your mechanical engineering aptitude to analyze cycle times and Takt times, aiming to improve Overall Equipment Effectiveness (OEE). By utilizing advanced Excel skills and ERP software, you will contribute to capacity planning and machine loading strategies. Key Requirements
Minimum 5 years of professional experience in production planning and control.
In-depth understanding of Bill of Materials (BOM) management and structuring.
Technical knowledge of cycle time and takt time analysis to optimize workflow.
Expertise in monitoring and improving Overall Equipment Effectiveness (OEE).
Familiarity with Value Stream Mapping (VSM) and continuous process improvement.
Practical experience applying Lean manufacturing methodologies in a factory setting.
Ability to identify and resolve deviations in production and dispatch flows.
Strong mechanical engineering aptitude and technical problem-solving skills.
Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel for complex data analysis and reporting.
Experience using ERP systems for resource allocation and capacity planning.
Background in metal fabrication or related industrial manufacturing sectors.
