PROCUREMENT OFFICER @ M-GAS RESOURCES LIMITED
M-Gas Resources Limited is seeking a highly organized, analytical, and results-driven Procurement Officer to join our growing team. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing purchasing processes, maintaining strong vendor relationships, and ensuring seamless supply chain operations to support strategic business goals. The role is based in Tanzania and involves close collaboration with internal departments to anticipate supply requirements and mitigate potential supply chain disruptions.
As a Procurement Officer, you will manage end-to-end purchasing procedures, ensuring all materials and services are procured cost-effectively and delivered on time. You will be expected to maintain accurate inventory records, perform regular stock reconciliation, and ensure all procurement activities adhere to company policies, industry regulations, and legal standards. The ideal candidate will be a proactive problem solver with a strong focus on operational efficiency and supplier management.

Key Requirements
Bachelor’s Degree in Procurement and Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
Minimum of 3 years of proven hands-on experience in a procurement role.
High proficiency in using SAP Systems (Procurement/MM modules) is required.
Strong negotiation, interpersonal, and communication skills.
Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and time-management capabilities.
High level of integrity, attention to detail, and accountability.
Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.
Understanding of inventory management practices and stock control.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel.
Knowledge of legal standards and industry procurement regulations.
