ACCOUNTANT @ LUCKY DUCK SUPERMARKET
Lucky Duck Supermarket, located at the iconic Dubai Mall, is currently seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Accountant to join our retail team. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing financial records, reconciling inventory accounts, and ensuring that all financial transactions within the supermarket are recorded accurately and in compliance with local regulations. This role requires a professional who can work effectively in a fast-paced retail environment while maintaining high standards of financial integrity. This position offers a standard 9-hour duty shift and provides employees with a supportive work environment. The package includes a employment visa, weekly off days, annual leave, and observance of public holidays as per UAE labor laws. Candidates must be prepared to handle the unique financial challenges of a high-volume supermarket setting within one of the world's busiest shopping destinations.
Key Requirements
Must have significant previous work experience within Dubai.
Proven professional experience specifically in supermarket accounting.
Strong proficiency in utilizing accounting software and Microsoft Excel.
In-depth understanding of UAE VAT regulations and filing procedures.
Ability to manage daily accounts payable and accounts receivable tasks.
Expertise in inventory management and stock reconciliation.
Excellent organizational skills with the ability to meet strict deadlines.
High level of accuracy and meticulous attention to detail.
Fluent in English with strong verbal and written communication skills.
Willingness to work a 9-hour daily shift in a retail environment.
