SENIOR OFFICER - ICT @ LOLC TANZANIA

They are currently seeking a Senior Officer - ICT to join their team in Dar es Salaam. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing and maintaining core banking systems, providing technical support, and overseeing cybersecurity measures. They will coordinate with vendors for system upgrades and ensure compliance with ICT and banking regulations. The role involves supporting IT planning and budgeting while implementing new technologies to maintain minimal downtime for critical systems and ensuring data integrity through rigorous backup procedures.

Key Requirements
Bachelor degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
Minimum 3 years of professional experience in IT, preferably within the financial or banking industry.
Strong knowledge of core banking systems and related software applications.
Expertise in database management and complex networking environments.
Familiarity with cybersecurity principles and best practices for data protection.
In-depth understanding of IT policies and banking regulatory requirements.
Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills for troubleshooting software issues.
Strong leadership skills to guide IT planning and implementation of new technologies.
Effective communication skills for coordinating with vendors and service providers.
Proven ability to manage system backups and execute data recovery plans.
