LOLC TANZANIA, a leading financial services provider, is seeking a Senior Officer - ICT to join their team in Dar es Salaam, Tanzania. The Senior Officer - ICT will be responsible for managing and maintaining core banking systems and related applications, providing technical support to minimize downtime for critical systems, and overseeing system backups, data recovery, and cybersecurity measures. The role also involves coordinating with vendors on IT infrastructure and system upgrades, promptly troubleshooting network and software issues, ensuring system compliance with ICT and banking regulatory requirements, and supporting IT planning, budgeting, and the implementation of new technologies.

Key Requirements
Bachelor degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field
Minimum 3 years of experience in IT, preferred in the financial or banking industry
Strong knowledge of core banking systems, database management, and networking
Familiarity with cybersecurity principles, data protection, and IT policies
Excellent problem-solving, communication, and leadership skills
Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment
Strong analytical skills to diagnose and resolve complex technical issues
