RISK AND COMPLIANCE OFFICER @ LOLC TANZANIA
LOLC Tanzania is a leading financial services provider committed to providing accessible loan solutions. We are seeking a dedicated Risk and Compliance Officer to support the implementation and maintenance of our Enterprise Risk Management framework and regulatory compliance programs. The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in identifying, assessing, and monitoring risks, ensuring adherence to financial regulations, and fostering a strong culture of compliance throughout our business units.
This position involves preparing detailed risk reports for management and the Board of Directors, monitoring operational risk incidents, and ensuring that all regulatory obligations—including those set by the Bank of Tanzania—are consistently met. You will also collaborate with various departments to conduct risk assessments, provide guidance on mitigation strategies, and support business continuity planning to ensure operational resilience in a dynamic financial environment.

Key Requirements
Bachelor’s Degree in Risk Management, Accounting, Finance, Banking, Economics, Law, or Business Administration.
Minimum of 3 years of experience in risk management, compliance, internal audit, or financial services.
Proficiency in Enterprise Risk Management (ERM) frameworks and risk assessment methodologies.
Deep understanding of Bank of Tanzania (BoT) regulations and AML/CFT guidelines.
Strong experience in report writing for management, risk committees, and boards of directors.
Proven ability to monitor Key Risk Indicators (KRIs) and perform Risk and Control Self-Assessments (RCSAs).
Demonstrated knowledge of Know Your Customer (KYC) requirements and data privacy standards.
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with high attention to detail.
Effective stakeholder management and professional communication capabilities.
Familiarity with business continuity management and operational resilience initiatives.
