SENIOR BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT OFFICER @ LOLC MICROFINANCE BANK
LOLC Microfinance Bank is seeking a highly motivated and results-driven Senior Business Development Officer to join our dynamic team in Dar es Salaam. As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for driving business growth by identifying and converting high-potential loan opportunities. You will be tasked with achieving ambitious monthly targets while maintaining a 100% collection rate to ensure the health of our loan portfolio.
This role involves active engagement in field sales, including visiting dealers and various marketplaces to generate leads and cultivate client relationships. Furthermore, you will provide critical market insights and mentorship to junior staff members, fostering an environment of efficiency and superior customer engagement. Successful candidates will manage the end-to-end process of preparing, reviewing, and submitting accurate credit proposals to the Head Office, while proactively mitigating risks to ensure long-term portfolio quality.

Key Requirements
Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Finance, Economics, or a related field.
At least 3 years of experience in business development, sales, or relationship management in financial institutions.
Strong knowledge of car loans or similar financial products.
Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
Ability to build rapport and establish trust with clients.
Self-motivated and goal-oriented, with a track record of achieving sales targets.
Proficiency in analyzing credit proposals and supporting documentation.
Advanced problem-solving skills for portfolio risk mitigation.
Proven ability to mentor and guide junior team members.
High level of professional integrity and commitment to organizational targets.
