ACCOUNTS MANAGER - 1 POSITION @ LLP
LLP is currently hiring for the position of Accounts Manager in our Kampala office. The Accounts Manager will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the accounting department, ensuring accurate and timely financial reporting. This includes managing general ledger functions, payroll, and the preparation of monthly and annual financial statements. You will serve as a key point of contact for financial audits and will work closely with other managers to ensure the firm's financial health.
In addition to technical accounting tasks, you will be tasked with leading and developing a team of accounting professionals. The role requires a candidate who can balance high-level strategic financial planning with the granular details of accounting compliance. Working in our international professional environment, you will have the chance to implement best practices in financial management and contribute to the ongoing growth and success of the firm in the Ugandan market.

Key Requirements
Expert knowledge in Accounting & Financial Reporting.
Familiarity with Taxation and its application in accounting.
Basic understanding of Audit & Assurance processes.
Proven experience in Team Handling and personnel management.
Strong Client Coordination and interpersonal skills.
Full proficiency in International Accounting Standards & Compliance.
Professional certification such as CPA or ACCA is mandatory.
Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in accounting management.
Advanced proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel.
Strong leadership skills with a focus on accuracy and accountability.
