CNG OPERATIONS ENGINEER / STATION MANAGER @ LINDI GRAPHITE
The CNG Operations Engineer/Station Manager will oversee the daily operations of the CNG station, ensuring that all systems are running efficiently and safely. This role involves monitoring high-pressure gas systems, managing tube trailer filling operations, and ensuring that all refueling processes adhere to safety standards. The manager is responsible for conducting routine inspections, coordinating preventative maintenance, and troubleshooting equipment malfunctions to minimize downtime. Furthermore, the role involves training staff and ensuring that all operational logs and records are kept up to date according to company standards. This position is located in the Lindi Region, Tanzania.
Key Requirements
Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Petroleum, Mechanical, Chemical, or Process Engineering
Minimum 3 years of experience in CNG station operations or natural gas facilities
Expertise in CNG compressors and high-pressure gas systems
Knowledge of CNG tube trailer filling and handling
Experience with CNG storage cascades and dispensing systems
Ability to conduct equipment troubleshooting and safe gas handling
Knowledge of HSE practices and emergency response procedures
Experience in station commissioning and startup
Strong leadership and staff supervision skills
Ability to develop and maintain Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs)
