LAB TECHNICIAN @ LAUREATE
Laureate Education for Life is looking for a meticulous and organized Lab Technician to support our science department. The primary responsibility of this role is to ensure that all science laboratories are well-maintained and that experiments are prepared accurately and safely. You will work closely with science teachers to facilitate hands-on learning experiences for students, managing equipment and materials efficiently. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in laboratory procedures and a firm commitment to safety standards. You will be responsible for ordering supplies, maintaining an inventory of chemicals and apparatus, and ensuring that all equipment is in good working order. Your support will be essential in helping students explore scientific concepts through practical investigation and discovery.
Key Requirements
Minimum 1 year relevant experience in a laboratory setting.
Proficiency in English (spoken & written).
Experience with Cambridge curriculum is an advantage.
Strong teamwork and positive attitude required.
Diploma or degree in Laboratory Science or a related field.
Knowledge of laboratory safety protocols and chemical handling.
Ability to prepare chemical solutions and experimental setups.
Strong organizational skills for managing inventory and supplies.
Attention to detail and accuracy in record-keeping.
Ability to assist teachers and students during practical lessons.
