LUBRICATOR (2) @ LAKE CEMENT
Lake Cement is seeking two qualified Lubricators to join their technical team. The primary objective of this role is to ensure the smooth operation and longevity of industrial machinery and equipment. The successful candidates will be responsible for performing essential lubrication tasks, monitoring lubricant levels, and maintaining complex lubrication systems according to established company standards and safety practices.
Key responsibilities include applying lubricants such as oil and grease based on manufacturer specifications, inspecting systems for leaks or wear, and keeping detailed records of maintenance activities. Candidates must have a technical background in mechanical engineering and at least two years of industrial experience. Key Requirements
Must be a Tanzanian candidate.
Technical Background in Mechanical Engineering.
At least 2 years’ experience in lubrication or mechanical maintenance in an industrial setting.
In-depth knowledge of lubrication techniques, tools, and safety standards.
Strong attention to detail and commitment to preventive maintenance.
Ability to inspect lubrication systems and equipment regularly for leaks or contamination.
Capability to maintain accurate records of lubrication schedules and materials used.
Ability to assist in troubleshooting mechanical issues related to poor lubrication.
Knowledge of safe handling, storage, and disposal of lubricants following environmental regulations.
Proficiency in the calibration and use of lubrication tools and equipment.
Strong communication skills to report abnormalities or potential failures to supervisors promptly.
