FACILITIES SUPERVISOR @ LAKE CEMENT
Lake Cement is seeking a dedicated and experienced Facilities Supervisor to join our operational team at the Kimbiji Plant. The successful candidate will be primary responsible for overseeing all cleaning, sanitation, and landscaping operations to ensure the facility remains in top condition. This role requires a proactive individual who can maintain high standards of hygiene and aesthetic appeal across the plant's grounds, contributing to a safe and productive working environment for all staff members. The supervisor will be tasked with managing onsite teams, scheduling routine maintenance activities, and ensuring that all facility-related services are executed efficiently and within the set timelines. Key duties include performing regular site inspections to identify areas needing improvement, managing budgets for cleaning supplies and landscaping materials, and coordinating with external vendors when necessary. Key Requirements
Proven experience as a Facilities Supervisor or in a similar supervisory role within an industrial or plant environment.
Strong knowledge of industrial cleaning protocols and sanitation standards.
Experience in overseeing professional landscaping and grounds maintenance activities.
Excellent leadership skills with the ability to manage and motivate a large team of maintenance and cleaning staff.
Strong organizational and time-management skills to handle multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
Knowledge of occupational health and safety (OSHA) regulations and compliance requirements.
Ability to conduct thorough facility inspections and implement corrective actions as needed.
Proficiency in managing budgets and inventory for facility maintenance supplies.
Effective communication skills for reporting to management and coordinating with different departments.
Problem-solving abilities to address facility issues or emergency maintenance needs promptly.
