Lake Cement is actively seeking a highly skilled and experienced Civil Engineer to join their dynamic team. The ideal candidate will possess 3-5 years of robust field experience in project construction, with a distinct preference for professionals who have worked within the cement industry. This pivotal role involves overseeing and managing various construction projects from inception to completion, ensuring adherence to quality standards and project timelines. The Civil Engineer will be instrumental in the planning, execution, and supervision of on-site works, contributing significantly to the company's infrastructure development.

The core responsibilities for this position include diligent supervision of construction works, such as masonry, carpentry, and concrete curing processes on-site. The role demands meticulous project planning and scheduling to guarantee the timely completion of all assigned tasks. Furthermore, the Civil Engineer will be tasked with preparing and accurately interpreting civil construction drawings, alongside producing precise quantity estimates and comprehensive cost schemes. Ensuring stringent quality control, conducting soil strength testing, and upholding block-making standards are also critical components of the role. Effective material management, encompassing the supply, usage, and tracking of construction materials, is essential. The successful candidate will also be expected to provide strong leadership and clear communication to guide both skilled and unskilled workers, fostering a productive and safe work environment.

Applicants must hold a Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering and demonstrate proven hands-on experience in mass-concreting and high-rise construction projects. Essential technical knowledge includes familiarity with cement plant equipment such as Crushers, VRMs, Kilns, Ball Mills, and Packing Plants. Candidates should also have practical experience in preparing Bill of Materials (BOM) from drawings, performing quantity estimation, and costing. Proficiency with RCC rods/TMT bar binding and formwork is required, along with an in-depth understanding of concrete grades, mix designs, and mass concrete applications. Familiarity with mass concrete admixtures, specialized techniques, and CAD drawings is crucial. Knowledge of ISO Management Systems, Health, Safety, and Environment (HSE) procedures, and ERP packages will be considered a significant advantage.
