We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Semi-Trailer Driver to join our professional logistics team. The successful candidate will be responsible for the safe and efficient operation of heavy-duty vehicles, ensuring timely delivery of goods across our primary routes. The operational routes for this position include Dar es Salaam, Chalinze, and Mkuranga. You will be expected to maintain vehicle integrity, follow strict road safety regulations, and provide excellent service to our clients while representing our company values on the road.
In this role, you will perform routine pre-trip and post-trip inspections, document all transport activities accurately, and report any mechanical issues to the maintenance department immediately. Key Requirements
Must possess a valid heavy vehicle driving license
Proven professional experience in operating semi-trailers
Deep knowledge and familiarity with the Dar es Salaam, Chalinze, and Mkuranga routes
Demonstrated commitment to road safety and traffic regulations
High level of personal integrity and reliability
Ability to perform basic vehicle troubleshooting and maintenance checks
Strong communication skills for reporting trip progress
Physical stamina required for long-distance driving
Clean driving record with no major traffic violations
Capability to complete accurate trip logs and transport documentation
