CHIEF CHEF / HEAD CHEF @ KWAY DATIVA
We are looking for a highly skilled and experienced Chief Chef / Head Chef to join our team in Dar es Salaam. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading all kitchen operations, ensuring that the highest standards of food quality and presentation are consistently met. You will play a pivotal role in menu development, bringing creative ideas to life while managing the kitchen's budget and inventory. As a leader in the kitchen, you will oversee staff training, performance management, and adherence to safety and hygiene protocols. Key Requirements
Extensive experience in professional kitchen management as a Head Chef or Executive Chef.
Strong leadership skills to manage and train kitchen staff effectively.
Proven ability in menu development and culinary innovation.
Expert knowledge of food safety and sanitation regulations (HACCP).
Proficiency in inventory management and cost control to maintain budget standards.
Excellent communication and organizational skills.
Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
Culinary degree or relevant professional certification.
Precision in food preparation and presentation.
Experience in sourcing high-quality ingredients and managing vendor relationships.
