CASHIER @ KPD CLEARING
The Cashier is responsible for processing guest payments accurately and maintaining the point-of-sale system at our Dar es Salaam cafe. You will be the last point of contact for our customers, so a friendly and efficient demeanor is vital. Responsibilities include handling cash, credit card transactions, issuing receipts, and reconciling the drawer at the end of every shift. We are looking for someone with excellent numerical skills and a high level of integrity who thrives in a fast-paced environment.
Key Requirements
Previous experience as a cashier or in retail
Fluent in English
Strong integrity and reliability
Excellent numerical and data entry skills
Professional grooming and demeanor
Good understanding of POS systems
Ability to work in a high-pressure environment
Strong attention to detail for cash reconciliation
Polite and helpful interaction with customers
Basic computer literacy
