BAKERY CHEF @ KPD CLEARING
We are seeking a talented Bakery Chef to join our team in Dar es Salaam. This role focuses on the production of artisanal breads and bakery items to accompany our coffee menu. You will oversee the dough preparation, proofing, and baking processes while ensuring consistent quality and freshness. A passion for baking, technical knowledge of flour types and yeast fermentation, and a commitment to maintaining a pristine production environment are essential for the Bakery Chef.
Key Requirements
Proven experience in professional baking
Fluency in English
Knowledge of bread varieties and proofing techniques
Commitment to high food safety standards
Efficiency in early morning shift operations
Hands-on experience with industrial ovens
Understanding of inventory for baking ingredients
Creative ability for menu specials
Ability to stand for long periods
Strong sense of timing and temperature control
