ACCOUNTS OFFICER (1 POST) @ KOROSHO INVESTMENT TANZANIA LIMITED (KITL)
The Accounts Officer at KOROSHO INVESTMENT TANZANIA LIMITED (KITL) is responsible for the accurate financial accounting and reporting of the organization's progress. This role involves investigating variances, posting expenses, and ensuring that various projects billings are issued and payments are made in accordance with KITL financial policies and procedures. The position is based in Mtwara with possible travel to other regions as required by the company's activities.
Key duties include developing, monitoring, and updating project budgets, as well as supporting financial planning, forecasting, and variance analysis. The officer will prepare timely financial reports and maintain accurate records for audit and compliance purposes. Further responsibilities include managing petty cash, performing bank reconciliations, and coordinating with other departments to collect financial data. The ideal candidate will ensure compliance with organizational policies, financial regulations, and procurement guidelines while managing financial risks.

Key Requirements
Bachelor's degree in Accountancy, Finance, Business Administration, or Commerce majoring in Accountancy.
Minimum of 3 years of experience in financial management, preferably in the Agriculture sector.
Must be a citizen of Tanzania aged between 25 and 35 years.
Proficiency in developing, monitoring, and updating project budgets.
Strong ability to prepare timely financial reports and maintain records for audit purposes.
Deep understanding of organizational policies, financial regulations, and procurement guidelines.
Proven skills in identifying and managing financial risks.
Expertise in managing petty cash, including verification, recording, and monthly reconciliation.
Competency in performing bank reconciliations and accurate transaction posting.
Ability to coordinate with various departments to collect financial data efficiently.
