RICE MILL PLANT MANAGER @ KOM GROUP OF COMPANIES
We are seeking an experienced Rice Mill Plant Manager to oversee our rice processing facility in Tanzania. The Plant Manager will be responsible for the entire production cycle, ensuring that the facility operates at peak efficiency while maintaining the highest standards of product quality. You will manage daily operations, including raw material procurement, milling processes, packaging, and facility maintenance. This role requires a technical expert who understands the nuances of rice milling and food safety standards.

You will be responsible for meeting production targets, managing the plant's budget, and implementing process improvements to reduce waste. Key Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Agricultural Engineering, Food Science, or Production Management.
Minimum of 5 years of management experience in a rice mill or food processing plant.
Technical knowledge of rice milling machinery and maintenance protocols.
Strong understanding of food safety standards and quality control (HACCP/ISO).
Proven ability to manage and lead a diverse team of production workers.
Experience in production planning, scheduling, and inventory management.
Ability to manage plant budgets and implement cost-control measures.
Excellent problem-solving skills to address machinery breakdowns or production delays.
Strong commitment to occupational health and safety (OHS) standards.
Effective communication skills for reporting production metrics to senior management.
