The Accountant is responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, preparing financial reports, ensuring compliance with Tanzanian tax and statutory requirements, and supporting the organization's financial planning and decision-making processes. They will play a key role in the financial health of the company by providing precise data and ensuring all regulatory filings are managed effectively.
Key responsibilities include preparing and maintaining accounting records, processing accounts payable and receivable, performing bank and ledger reconciliations, and preparing various financial reports. Additionally, the role involves assisting with budgeting, maintaining asset registers, and supporting internal and external audits to ensure corporate governance and operational transparency.

Key Requirements
Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
CPA (T) or equivalent professional qualification
At least 3 years of relevant accounting experience
Knowledge of IFS and Tanzanian tax regulations
Proficiency in accounting software like QuickBooks, Tally, or Sage
Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
High level of integrity and confidentiality
Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
Ability to work independently and meet strict deadlines
