Kisma Transport Company Ltd is actively seeking an experienced and highly motivated Workshop Supervisor to spearhead our truck maintenance operations. This pivotal role ensures the optimal performance and reliability of our extensive fleet, contributing directly to the efficiency of our logistics services. The successful candidate will be responsible for upholding the highest standards of vehicle maintenance and operational safety. This is a hands-on leadership position where you will be instrumental in guiding and developing a skilled team of mechanics. Your responsibilities will include the meticulous management of job cards utilizing our advanced ERP system, ensuring all maintenance records are accurate and up-to-date. Furthermore, you will collaborate closely with our Fleet Stores Controller to strategically manage parts and consumables inventory, guaranteeing that necessary resources are consistently available to support our maintenance schedule and minimize downtime. This role demands a proactive leader with a strong technical background and an unwavering commitment to operational excellence.
Key Requirements
Diploma in Automotive or Mechanical Engineering
Equivalent trade certification
4-5 years experience in a heavy vehicle workshop
At least 2 years in a supervisory role
Experience with Heavy Duty Vehicles
ERP system proficiency for job card and maintenance record management
Strong leadership skills
Strong diagnostic skills
