TANZANIA CORPORATE CHILDCARE CONSULTANT @ KIPAJI HR
This is a mission-driven opportunity to lead the rollout of corporate childcare pilot programmes with private sector companies in Tanzania. The successful candidate will work closely with businesses, communities, and caregivers to co-create viable, sustainable childcare solutions that empower working families and create significant social impact. You will be responsible for engaging companies to design and assess workplace childcare solutions while conducting field research and needs assessments to ensure high-quality delivery.
As a lead consultant, you will identify, engage, and strengthen existing providers while facilitating partnerships with various corporate and community stakeholders. The role requires providing ongoing support, monitoring, and learning from pilot programmes to contribute to scaling best practices across the region. You will represent the organization in Tanzania, working independently and adapting to various environments, particularly within rural areas where a significant portion of the work will take place.

Key Requirements
Must be a Tanzanian national with fluency in both Swahili and English.
At least 10 years of relevant experience in community engagement or market systems.
Proven background in women's economic empowerment or corporate partnerships.
Demonstrated experience in conducting user/market research and stakeholder engagement.
Experience working in a start-up or small NGO environment.
Strong communication, relationship building, and facilitation skills.
Self-starter who is adaptable and comfortable working independently.
Deep passion for childcare, women's empowerment, and social impact.
Willingness to travel 50-75% of the time to rural areas and on the road.
Ability to commit to a 12-month full-time consultancy contract.
