HEAD TEACHER @ KINYEREZI ADVENTIST PRE AND PRIMARY SCHOOL
Kinyerezi Adventist Pre and Primary School (KIAPPS) is seeking a highly qualified and visionary Head Teacher to lead our English Medium institution. The successful candidate will be responsible for the overall academic and administrative leadership of the school, ensuring the highest standards of education and character development in accordance with Adventist values and the NECTA curriculum. This role requires a professional who can effectively manage staff, engage with parents, and create an environment where students can thrive both academically and socially.
The ideal candidate must demonstrate strong leadership capabilities, financial acumen, and a deep understanding of primary education management. You will be expected to oversee curriculum delivery, monitor student progress, and implement continuous professional development programs for the teaching staff. Applicants must be proficient in both English and Kiswahili and possess basic ICT skills to modernize school operations. Key Requirements
At least a Bachelor degree in Education from a recognized institution.
Minimum teaching experience of 5 years at the primary school level.
At least 2 years of experience specifically in a Head Teacher or school management role.
High level of proficiency in both written and spoken English and Kiswahili languages.
Proven experience in leading and managing schools following the NECTA curriculum.
Basic ICT skills, including proficiency in school management software and office applications.
Demonstrated skills in Business Administration and school resource management.
Evidence of continuous learning or recent professional development in education leadership.
Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to manage a diverse team of educators.
Excellent organizational skills and the ability to handle administrative tasks efficiently.
