Kilimanjaro Operations is seeking a dedicated professional to manage the logistical complexities of trekking and safari operations in Arusha. The role involves overseeing mountain crew allocations, ensuring compliance with KPAP standards, and managing departure logs. You will also be responsible for conducting pre- and post-trek briefings, reporting incidents, and updating operational systems such as SAP, Polaris, and the TANAPA portal. Additionally, the successful candidate will prepare detailed financial reports, manage staff payment sheets, and plan intricate safari and trekking itineraries. You will coordinate with various suppliers, handle meal logistics, and manage vehicle transfers and flight bookings. Key Requirements
Proven experience in Kilimanjaro trekking and northern circuit safari operations.
Strong knowledge of tourism operations and logistics coordination.
Proficient in Excel and ERP systems (SAP, Polaris, TANAPA Portal).
Excellent communication skills in English and Swahili.
Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
High ability to work under pressure in fast-paced environments.
Team player with flexibility to take on additional duties.
Expertise in mountain crew allocation and KPAP compliance.
