KIJENGE ANIMAL PRODUCTS LTD. (KAPL) is looking for a dedicated Chinese Language Interpreter to facilitate communication within its operations in Arusha. This crucial role involves providing seamless Mandarin-English/Kiswahili interpretation during various engagements and accurately translating a wide range of documents. The interpreter will be instrumental in supporting internal and external meetings, ensuring clear understanding among all participants.
Further responsibilities include acting as a vital liaison with Chinese partners, fostering strong relationships and smooth collaborations. Maintaining strict confidentiality of all translated and interpreted information is paramount. Key Requirements
Degree/Diploma in Chinese Language, Translation, Linguistics, International Relations, or related field
Mandarin proficiency (HSK 5/6 preferred)
At least 2 years' experience in interpretation/translation
Manufacturing or business translation experience is an advantage
International passport is an advantage
China work/study experience is an advantage
Ability to support meetings effectively
Ability to liaise with Chinese partners professionally
Commitment to maintaining confidentiality
Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English, Kiswahili, and Mandarin
