Key Requirements
Degree/Diploma in Chinese Language, Translation, Linguistics or related field.
Proficiency in Mandarin Chinese (HSK 5 or 6) with strong command of Swahili and English.
Minimum 2 years' experience in interpretation or translation.
Demonstrated excellent cross-cultural communication skills and sensitivity.
Ability to interpret accurately and effectively in both consecutive and simultaneous modes.
Strong vocabulary and understanding of technical and business terminology.
Commitment to maintaining confidentiality and high professional standards.
Exceptional attention to detail to ensure precision in communication.
Prior experience in an industrial or manufacturing interpretation setting is preferred.
Adaptability and flexibility to handle various interpreting situations and contexts.
